Natural Wedding Photographer in Suffolk: Honest, Candid Memories.
Capturing your unscripted Suffolk wedding story, from the coast to the countryside.
My parents' neighbours reckon Suffolk has a bigger sky than anywhere else in the UK. I'm not going to argue with them.
I photograph weddings across the county: Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Lowestoft, the coast at Aldeburgh and Southwold, and the villages in between. Barns, village halls, back gardens, your own front room. What the venue looks like matters a lot less to me than what happens inside it.
How I work
No stiff posing, no staged moments, no cheese.
I'm after the real, joyful, sometimes messy bits that make the day yours.
I'm a guest with a camera. Most people forget I'm there within an hour.
Suffolk has some genuinely lovely venues, and I'm glad to photograph in any of them. I'm just as glad in a village hall or a field with a marquee in the corner.
What I like about photographing here is the light: those long flat horizons, the reedbeds, and the particular brightness you get on the coast even in winter.

Never. I don't do posed portraits, unless you have a clear idea in mind. I'm there to document your day as it happens; you just get married, I'll handle the rest.

Everywhere. Aldeburgh to Bury St Edmunds, Southwold to Sudbury; if that's where your wedding is, that's where I'll be.
