Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree, Southend, Maldon, Harlow, and the villages around Dedham Vale. Anywhere in the county is easy for me to reach.

I document; I don't direct

No shot list, no "stand like this", no asking anyone to laugh at nothing. I photograph what happens and stay out of the way of it happening.

Not keen on cameras?

Good. Neither are most people. Nobody gets posed, corrected, or wrangled into groups. I'm neurodivergent myself, so being the centre of attention isn't something I'd wish on anyone.

Flat estuary skies, the woods around Dedham and the north Essex border, and that particular grey-gold of an October afternoon here. Documentary work uses whatever light is in the room, or outside.

I grew up here

Born in Chelmsford, lived in Essex until I was 18. It's home turf, which means I'm not looking anything up on the way to your venue.
