Natural Wedding Photographer in Norfolk: Unscripted, Natural Storytelling.

Capturing honest, candid wedding memories across the beautiful Norfolk landscape.

candid documentary wedding photograph of couple exiting church in Norfolk

I've been coming to Norfolk since I was a child. My parents used to take us on holiday to Foulsham, and my favourite beach anywhere is still Stiffkey, once you've walked over the bog between the car park and the sand.

I photograph weddings across the whole county: Norwich, King's Lynn, the north coast around Cromer and Blakeney, the Broads, and the villages in between. Barns, village churches, back gardens, function rooms above pubs. The venue matters a lot less to me than what happens inside it.

How I work

  • I stay in the background and photograph what actually happens. No posing, no direction, no cheese.

  • I'm after the in-between moments, the ones most photographers are looking past.

  • You won't feel managed. Most people forget I'm there within an hour.

The light here is unlike anywhere else in England. Vast open skies, long golden afternoons, and that particular quality you only get near the coast. It suits documentary photography, which relies on whatever light is actually in the room rather than lighting a scene from scratch.
