I’m Tom. I’m here to capture how your wedding felt, not just how it looked.

I photograph weddings for couples whose ideal day doesn't come from a template.

I believe that before a wedding photograph is made to be art, it must first be made to keep a memory.

Based in Suffolk, I cover weddings across East Anglia, Essex, and London, and I'm always happy to travel further for the right wedding. I'm also based part of the year in Spain, so if you're planning something abroad, particularly Brits getting married in Europe; you're in good company.

My approach is pretty simple: I turn up, I pay attention, and I photograph what actually happens. No posing, no staging, no asking you to look at the camera and pretend to laugh. Just honest images of a real day. I definitely won't ask you to "hold that smile," “look lovingly into each other’s eyes,” or “just do that again, but look happy.”

My Philosophy: Unscripted & Unobtrusive

If you’re here, you probably value real connection over perfect styling. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible, allowing you to fully experience every moment of your day without feeling like you’re on a film set.

Think of me as a guest who happens to have a camera. I stay close enough to catch the moments that matter:

  • The nervous glance before the ceremony.

  • The first proper laugh of the day.

  • The quiet bit between the big bits…without ever getting in the way of them happening.

I'm particularly good with couples who find the idea of being photographed uncomfortable. There's no eye contact required, no direction, no performing. Most people forget I'm there fairly quickly, which is exactly what I'm going for.

If your wedding doesn't look like anyone else's, brilliant. This is where I do my best work:

  • Unconventional days, relaxed venues, no-fuss celebrations.

  • LGBTQIA+ couples.

  • Neurodivergent couples who need the day to work on their terms.

Beyond the Camera

When I’m not documenting wedding stories in Suffolk, Essex, or Norfolk, or around Spain, you’ll likely find me photographing on the streets, trying to learn how to make my own clothes (I am not good at it!), book-binding, wood-working, collecting rocks, or investigating the post-AGI future (the list could go on…). I believe that a great photographer isn’t just someone who knows their gear but someone you actually enjoy having around on your most important day - a real person.

Want to know if I’m the right fit?
